## Operational Experience

### Hospitality Operations & Venue Leadership - Approximately 20 years

- Venue management roles at Be At One, including General Manager in Norwich and co-management at Greek Street; Bar Manager at The Scran & Scallie.
- Operational experience across Wetherspoons, Revolucion de Cuba, All Bar One, independent hotel bars, and smaller venues.
- Work has included high-volume service, openings and recoveries, staff training, service systems, customer communication, troubleshooting, and daily venue control.

## Selected Product Delivery

### GiM / GiMOps - Hospitality Operations Intelligence

- Turned recurring venue problems across legacy hardware, weak Wi-Fi, spreadsheets, and close-down workflows into a read-only, privacy-conscious product direction.
- Built the public multi-page site, trust and product documentation, Cloudflare Worker contact flow, and internal Python/FastAPI/SQLite prototypes. Active project with public site.
- **Semantic Vision Protocol - protocol/prototype:** explored multi-venue edge-to-cloud coordination by converting locally processed video observations into small, anonymised semantic records before transfer. This avoids transferring identifiable raw footage and reduces privacy, bandwidth, and storage pressure while accounting for constrained edge hardware. It is not a production deployment.

### MiX - Bartender-Friendly Spec Board

- Designed a low-friction Svelte/Vite tool around fast service lookup, training, flashcards, local notes, and responsive recipe views.
- Built import parsing that extracts and normalises messy venue menu and spec data from XLSX, CSV, PDF, DOCX, and TXT files.

### Motive Engine - Explainable Utility AI for Unity

- Owned C# package delivery, explainable decision behaviour, JSON workflows, validation, sample scenes, tests, documentation, and distribution preparation.
- Submitted to Unity Asset Store review on 8 June 2026 and awaiting review.
